I’m in KLUE , August 2008 issue
This will be a lousy little post . I don ‘t have a scanner with me , so I took the darn picture with my Casio digital camera . Owh , have been posting lots of bad pictures these days on the blog , a photographer’s nightmare . The place where I’m at now , has superrrrr bad internet connection , so I can’t upload the voice recordings and videos from my FLY FM show , My KLUE magazine interview or my recent KLANG show . CRAP ! Bloody Crap !

My FLY FM LIVE SHOW + Weekend Endeavours
I had one of the craziest weekends ever . Business , shows and lots of work to be done . Over the weekend , I was also invited to a couple of parties which I unfortunately left out . It’s not that I do not like parties , but I feel that `cari makan ‘ is more important these days . I was with Choon Hoong , Daniel and Simon recently and we had this conversation over a few bowls of Vietnam noodles . Why do we go to parties ? For the most part , to socialize and meet new interesting characters …. or to say rather boldly , most guys go to parties to meet individuals from the opposite sex .

On Thursday , I was on air from 4pm to 6pm on FLY FM , 95.8 Klang Valley . It was televised live on the podcast at www.flyfm.com 4pm onwards . It was my 2nd time doing radio magic on air , and boy was it tiring . I had to find effects to work on for 2 whole hours . The whole show turned out really good though and they’re thinking of bringing me on the FLY FM Bing Bang Breakfast Show next . Here are a couple of the pictures at the studio . A big thank you goes out to Jules and Prem who had been really supportive during the whole show . Without them , it would have never been interesting as it was supposed to be . Thanks you guys !

It was a great experience to be LIVE on air . The DJs had to be alert and screen off anything that is unexpected and it was an eye opener seeing how they do what they do ( not mentioning that they are really good at it too ! )
On Friday , I went for a business engagement in Johor Bahru ( which was very fruitful ) and on Saturday , I met up with Phat Phabez and Prem again to do a show in KLANG . By this time , my eyes could hardly open due to the lack of sleep . I reached home from JB at 4am in the morning !

On Sunday , I got up, settled my appointments schedules , attended church ( Yes Daniel , as hard to believe as it may seem , I do go to church ) . At night I attended a dinner function cum psychological show ( done by me ) with Tamarind Spring’s owner , Mabel Loo and Ning Baizura . Both came with their husbands and we had a fantastic evening together . We all had dinner , and entertained ourselves with cards , coins and broken forks ….

FEELINGS
Over the past two years , I have been changing my lifestyle in a significant way . Those of you who know me would understand . I am a person who doesn’t really like partying , but parties ( comparatively ) a lot . I never liked alcohol with the exception of Baileys ( under the influence of that someone ) …yet for the past year and a half, I consumed more alcohol than my past 20 years on mother earth . Is it a bad thing ? Well , it depends how you look at it . I can control my urges ( some of them ) and hopefully will be still able to control them in the future …but this post isn’t about partying and booze now..isn’t it ?
The last couple of days , a friend of mine , a childhood friend of mine broke up with his first girlfriend . His first ever girlfriend . This guy doesn’t talk much and is such a nice humble guy at heart . His ex dumped him for reasons still unknown to the modern civilized world . He keeps on saying ` It’s just like she doesn’t remember what I’ve done for her ? ‘ . The girl ? Well , to me she isn’t the hottest thing on the market neither is she close to the word HOT in my dictionary , but she treats him like utter dirt after landing the anvil on his head . What IS GOING ON ?
Ever since I involved myself in the entertainment industry and mixed around , I’ve seen so many type of shit it’s hard to believe . I’ve seen Innocent `looking ‘ Miss Malaysia World contestants sell their `service’ ( if you know what kind of service am I talking about ) for a 4 digit figure , girls who have boyfriends just cheat on them without conscience with other richer guys , girls who go on ` holidays ‘ with older men twice their age …yeah holidays , and girls who are just pure gold diggers . That is just scratching the surface of what I’ve experienced beforehand .
I finally came to the conclusion that good girls are hard to come by these days . Good in my definition is someone who can be trusted , depended on , I am attracted to and can sincerely care for me . Hidden would be a suitable word used describing finding them . Either that , or their already taken ( and won’t cheat on their current partner ) .
I see friends meeting really hot beautiful girls but in the end get disappointed with what they discover over time . I see friends go after gorgeous girls only to be used and get depressed over the whole drama . What a modern world we live in . Is there really something deemed as LOVE ? Because I believe , and I really do believe in this …. When it all boils down , after all the flirting , chasing and glamorous fun … a guy just wants to spend his life with ONE girl who he really loves .
Now don’t get me wrong , I’m not saying that they are NO good girls these days . I said hard to find , not extinct . I know of a few really great girls worth any guy’s time . They’re trustworthy , dependable , attractive and knows how to take care of their guy . I’m with one right now .
Although it’s really hard for me to adapt to the new conditions that me and my girl are in , it’s worth the time and effort . I know it’s not going to be easy …easy is paying the next slutty girl you see at Jalan Alor , for an hour of her time . Commitment is taking bus rides and drives back and forth from Perak to KL and Singapore constantly to see somebody . Paying the heaping phone bills , and calming yourself down when someone’s un-contactable .
Good girls are hard to find , when you find one , you gotta hold on to them the best you can .
It’s a hard journey , but I’m learning a lot from it .

MY Talents Magazine Shoot
I finally realize how hard is it to be a model . Well , maybe I’m just scratching the surface but blardee hell , it sure isn’t an easy job !
Dennis used to say to me that Daniel’s job was a piece of cake . Just show up and look nice . I’m telling you, it’s not JUST like that man . It’s hard work ! Photographer asks you for this pose, that smile , this stance ….my gosh . I’ve been to a quite a few photo shoots but never for an official magazine shoot …and it ain’t easy … I din’t know that my face can produce so many types of smiles …
My interview and shoot for Talents Magazine was held at Tamarind Springs …a beautiful restaurant in KL . I was accompanied by violinist Joanne Yeoh ( Dennis’s cousin ) and Xandria Ooi . We all had our interview session first and then followed by a photo shoot .Here are some of the shots by my Casio camera . I’ll update the posts when I get the pics from the phothographer .

That ends my day today . I’m worn out once again . Have lots to think and plan on for the following week . Owh…the stress ….but I’m going to get through this .

Mixed feelings …aiz
It has been quite a while since I typed a ` worth reading post ‘ . I usually just post up pictures with half fun captions to amuse myself . Don ‘t get me wrong , it’s not that I dislike writing ( I love writing although I’m obviously bad at it ) , it’s just that I’m a lazy bum …BUM with a capital B .
How am I these days ? I’d love to stay positive and say that I’m doing good , everything has been a breeze and life couldn’t be better …but that would be a lie . Personally , I feel exhausted , insecure and downright angry at times . People get their bad days , I’m having my emotional week at the moment .
Money is coming in steadily , shows are popping up by the bundle . Next week , I have a show in Johor Bahru, a live show on Fly.FM , followed by a show in Klang and finally and show by Christien’s management . Tomorrow on the other hand , I have a shoot for Talents Magazine followed by a self promotion at Kid Chan’s Villa in section 17 . How am I going to breath ? Please don’t forget that I am also on the verge of completing a thesis in Perak . With the traveling and concentration needed , I sometimes feel like crying on my smelly bed . Not the most manly thing to resort to , but …aiz .
People say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger . I guess there is a blessing behind all these jobs and stress . I really hope it makes me a better person .
A lot of problems have been knocking on my door for the past days so much so I’m having nightmares at night . Yeah , I’m like … WHAT IS GOING ON ? I wish I could just go to someone right now and say ` I had a nightmare … and lie down on her lap and doze off like a baby’ ….easier said than done .
I had a tiring day today , sent Yen Chi back to the Aeroline Bus stand in 1U then went off to a casting for a Mentos commercial . Gotta prepare for tomorrow now ….Gdnite guys , wish me well .

I was invited by my manager CN for this Adidas event in Pavillion , KL . When I went there , the 1st thing I saw was that people were crowding the area like a pasar malam ! My goodness , it was crazeeee ! Security was tight to the brim and people who WERE in the Adidas flagship stall can be counted by your fingers .
Besides Christien and Lavin , the next familiar face I spotted was Adrian Loh…who was somehow in office wear . After that , Daphne Iking came by , followed by fitness coach , Kevin Zachry .Yoga master Nini and Malaysian Idol Dina .
While waiting for Mr. Ballack to come in ( who was the only Chelsea football player available that day ) , we all camwhored like small little kids . Do enjoy the pictures !
Okay, okay , I know my writings have been not very stimulating lately ( not mentioning all the grammatical errors ) . I promise on the next post , I’ll write something worth reading , seriously I’m swampped for time ! Till then !

Talent’s Malaysia Magazine + FLY FM
Somehow I feel really lucky having good friends in the entertainment line . I’ll get to that in a while ….
This morning , I met with Jules from FLY.FM . We met up in Centrepoint, BU to discuss my feature on FLY.FM . I’ll be doing some mentalism live on air , the week after next . It’s going to be a BANG ! I’m preparing the routines as I type …. I first knew of Jules when she called me up on Flirty at 10.30 a while back . She wanted to set me up on a date with a secret admirer ( it was an online contest ) but I was already with someone so the date did not materialize in the end . The secret admirer and I remained friends though .Oh well , Jules and I kept in contact , met regularly at events and now were going to do a show together !

I’m embarrass to write the following lines but here it goes . When I was 18 , there was this female personality who was on the rise . She was making waves for herself , hosting and appearing on countless magazine covers . Her name was Hannah ….yupz , Hannah Tan . I always wanted to meet her up and somehow along those years , magic has made me good friends with her . Through Hannah , I also met Jessica , her manager and both of them have been nothing but help . Jessica helped me pitch for a Dubai show , a Maxis show and also many other events . Hannah on the other hand helped me land an interview with Talents Malaysia Magazine . I’m doing the interview with them this coming Saturday .
When it all boils down , I’m really lucky to have made good friends along the line . Hannah , Jessica and Jules are just a few of the circle who have been supportive and absolutely helpful to my career .
