I was in Kuching for a show for Alliance Bank a few weeks ago . All this was thanks to Sorensen who secured me the job . It was an all expense paid trip , but I decided to stay with my uncle in Kuching to spend time with my mom’s side of the family ( besides smuggling in the accommodation expenses ) .

I met many wonderful people at the event . From Datuks , to BIG investors . The whole event was actually a customer appreciation event in conjuction with a new ALLIANCE Bank branch opening in Kuching . I performed for two segments , the branch opening and the gala dinner itself . I honestly enjoyed myself immensely the whole day . It was no doubt tiring , but the people there were a joy to deal with .

When I got home , I accidentally deleted all the photos from my camera and had to depend on the professional photographer’s shot . Sorensen was kind enough to edit and send to me most of my shots for the night ! Thanks Sorensen ! Enjoy the `edited’ photos !

After the event itself , I messaged Kenny Sia and asked whether he was back from Malaysian Dream Girls finals . He was ,and offered to bring me for tea . When Kenny arrived at Sarawak Club ( where I was performing ) , it seemed that his uncle, his brother and member of his relatives were actually in the crowd where I was performing ! How small is Kuching really is ???

Kenny literally brought me to a place that ONLY serves TEA . I forgot the name of the place but he brought along his good friend Alwynn . My goodness , the 3 of us laughed so hard while chatting that I almost puked . Alwynn has to be one of the FARNIEST Kuching guy that I have the privilege knowing . This blardee joker , when I asked Alwynn to think of a name ( and I tried to get it ) …

David : What ?

Me and Kenny just burst with laughter man until neighboring tables were staring at us. Owh, I laughed till my stomach hurt . Words cannot do justice o describe Alwynn’s antics that night . There was one time , Alwynn was burning a piece of paper I asked him to burn , and it almost triggered the fire sprinkler’s at the shop !
